[Dollhouse] Nine and Ten

It's either Caroline or Boyd, isn't it? There's nobody left that makes sense. Assuming some truth to what Clyde said, then either the evil Rossum partner is Boyd and he joined the house to keep an eye on Caroline or it is Caroline, who is NOT the idealistic college girl, but the secret woman behind Rossum. (She picked Echo's body to switch to some time ago.)
The first makes a shade more sense, although what he wants with her and why he's been pushing her remains difficult to understand. I can only assume she kept some secret from them or had some sort of brain damage making the memory impossible to retrieve directly. Either that or something about her made her the perfect choice to try and create a controlled Alpha. (Unless it was his one chance to get someone in the system who could stop Arcane, since it was affecting computer functions.) I mean, if him being identified is a security risk then why not just put a bullet in her head?
The only person missing from this is Clyde 2.0. I'm not sure where to slot him. Presumably he was kept as the public face of Rossum or something. It just seems a rather large dangling thread. (Unless he is the model for the first doll in some way. Pliant, respectful, obeys orders.)
I suppose Boyd could be Clyde 2.0, under orders from the real villain.
Either way, someone in that room is turning. I still favour evil Caroline, although I'm not sure what the game is then. I just like the idea of trying so hard to get her back only to find out she's the bad guy.
"What we took from Ballard" also looms. I thought maybe his love for Echo, but I can't be sure. Memories of someone are a possibility. (November? At least it would ease his guilt there.)
Ah well. Off to watch last ep and catch up to everyone.
