lightcastleOne hundred years ago today, in the aftermath of a fight over money, le Club de Hockey Canadien (aka The Habs, La Sainte-Flanelle, Le Tricolore, Les Glorieux (or Nos Glorieux), and The Montreal Canadiens)was formed. They may never rise to the glorious heights they once had - and certainly won't this season - but until the recent Yankees resurgence, they were the most successful team in any of the 4 major North American sports.
