No IE, No Chrome

lightcastleSo that strange thing where my IE always says it can't find webpages? Chrome does the same.
The webpage at http://www.google.com/ might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.
Both of these are only on one account on the XP machine. They seem to work find on other accounts (both admin-enabled and not).
It's very confusing to me.
