Broken IE

So the one lasting effect I seem to find from the rogue antivirus is that IE can no longer resolve any addresses. I expect this has to do with the malware resetting it to always go and pull the address of the program it wanted me to pay for.

I only use IE for one page, but that's work-related to my not-yet-really a job. I can probably work around it, but it is most mysterious and irritating.
