I had it on while cooking, and something that bothered me on first viewing struck me even more this time.
I glossed over the main story due to the clear point being the reveal of GangerAmy. On second viewing, though, it bothered me even more that the entire point of the main story is that the Gangers feel, are sentient, and are worthy of respect as living creatures - not to be simply disposed of. Then we get the ridiculous death of GangerDoctor followed by the COLD-BLOODED MURDER of GangerAmy.
Really? I know they are pretending to address The Doctor's violent legacy in A Good Man Goes to War but... no, this is appalling. (As is his "message" in the first 5 minutes of the following ep.)
I want a return to The triumph of intellect and romance over brute force and cynicsm.
