Anyone have any thoughts on whether moving to near the Monk metro is a terrible or brilliant idea?

I liked walking and biking in the area when I lived a couple stops away in Verdun, and I've known a few people who lived in Ville-Émard and liked it. It has a good vibe.

well, I spent 3-4 years in Ville-Emard and 5 years in Verbum and I prefer Verbum. Things are closer here and I find it easier to get around. In Ville-Emard you're really stuck with just the 37 and maybe the 78 bus. But if you're close to the metro it's not bad. Usually you can also walk to Angrignon if you're that close. Depends on where you're working and if you like to be near a grocery store, etc.
But it's not a terrible idea.

I think how close to the metro might be a big factor.

Near a grocery store and such is big for me.

Probably worth checking the place out, though.

While that Metro is right near the arena where Jaques Rougeau had his short-lived promotion, the area that I saw was economically depressed.
