Taken from mzrowan and much-ado, An old Luftwaffe spy photo has revealed a garden labyrinth at the home of Sir Thomas Tresham, whose sun was part of the Gunpowder Plot. According to the article, the labyrinth would have been festooned with Roman Catholic symbolism in a time where such things did not endear you to the crown.

Meanwhile, a posthumus Tony Judt piece reminds me how much I like to point out New York is an iconic American city, but isn't really American.

Mine is 48 and I'm surprised it ended up that high. They don't take into consideration weather conditions.

Yeah. I looked it up. It's basically how many stores are within one mile. Each store gets a certain number of points depending on how close it is. More stores mean higher walkability.
