Went to the Crisis Camp this afternoon, which I think was good for me. I'm not sure if a real project will come out of it, but am hopeful. There are some really smart, motivated people there. It was definitely a preliminary meeting, and the next step is figuring out if there is a project we can actually contribute to other than just extra eyes and brains on the data stream.
Still, it was a good experience. Since I have nowhere to host my SuperBowl party, I don't mind giving up next Sunday, either.
(P.S. I was interviewed for PRI's The World. Odds are good I'll end up on the cutting room floor, of course, but if not the episode should broadcast Monday.)
