Ask the Interwebz - Wedding Pictures
Sep. 7th, 2011 06:24 pmMy co-worker wants me to shoot her wedding. Or at the very least, to put a bid in so she can decide. I know some of you have paid for such and/or engaged yourself as such. Any thoughts on a ballpark? This would include an album at the end and all, although I could just give her a CD and let her find a place that makes albums out of it.
Unsurprisingly, part of me is hesitant as this is the kind of thing people are REALLY attached to and you pretty much only have one shot at it.

Date: 2011-09-08 01:10 pm (UTC)That would be super low-end for wedding, I would think. I'd probably float closer to $400/500.
The CD of pics is untouched? Culled for decent shots only? A light pass of touch ups? How many on the CD?

Date: 2011-09-12 12:40 am (UTC)So it's $50 for her to come to the house and she spends a good 2 hours taking TONS of pics of all of us (she brings props, lighting etc. You can find her page on Facebook: Kreative Memories)
She retouches all the pics on the CD and she includes ALL the shots, so it was like 200 pics. Not all of them great. So last time I just ordered pics a la carte instead. Otherwise I pay for the CD AND making prints.
