So having finally archived all the backlog of old photos, I am slowly working my way through them and remembering I have a flickr account.
I have to admit, trying to figure out how to salvage rather terribly-shot photos is an interesting exercise.

The original had this strange faded look which always made it feel old-timey to me.

This seems too blue.

That is a bit better, but really the charm of the photo was that it felt old, so I went B&W.

And, of course, sepia.

Sadly, it seems doing raw files from Nikon involves specialized software and other wackiness, so I will probably just convert all the raw shots I took in Ottawa to pngs and edit them, even though that seems like a waste of what is supposedly so great about shooting raw. (The shots also seem to come out all green and noisy, though, so it takes longer.)
