No, not the Blade Runner kind.

I've had my Android phone for a few months now. It's ok, but the fact that it doesn't save passwords really kind of sucks. (I'm sure there is some good security reason for it.) The fact that I have to retype in every password I have if I go into the metro and lose signal makes it pretty useless for things like Twitter, or even email half the time.

Still, I haven't done a hard dig through the app store, so maybe there is something super neat I would like in there.

Wait, what? It's not saving wifi network passwords? Or application passwords? Either way, something is really broken: no android phone I've ever seen did that. What make/model, and what OS version?

Okay, that's just weird. Miranda has a nexus one, and I can confirm that it does not do that. Try doing a factory reset and then re-entering your account info? (it's under settings -> privacy)

Honestly not sure, but I can't imagine that re-adding your apps once would be less annoying than re-entering your password 2-3 times a day for all eternity.
