RIP Elisabeth Sladen

Farewell, Sarah Jane Smith.

Sarah Jane was not my favourite companion growing up, as she was a shade before my time. (I was a Leela boy.) But she is in many ways the definitive companion of her era of Doctor Who, and I was happy to see her return to the new continuity and spin off into her own show.

Go with grace, Ms Sladen. Somewhere, Sarah Jane and the Brig are saving the universe.

Android Troubles

No, not the Blade Runner kind.

I've had my Android phone for a few months now. It's ok, but the fact that it doesn't save passwords really kind of sucks. (I'm sure there is some good security reason for it.) The fact that I have to retype in every password I have if I go into the metro and lose signal makes it pretty useless for things like Twitter, or even email half the time.

Still, I haven't done a hard dig through the app store, so maybe there is something super neat I would like in there.
