Do all Senates suck?
Nov. 17th, 2010 04:16 pmI am just sort of wondering. After all, we've seen in short order the Canadian Senate kill a bill on climate change and the US Senate killed the Lilly Ledbetter Paycheck Fairness Act.
For fun, please note the WSJ op ed that asks us to "not embark upon a journey that leads us to gender warfare."
As usual, those pointing out a problem and trying to do something about are accused of causing the problem.

Date: 2010-11-19 01:15 am (UTC)The whole thing is about freedom - the freedom to never be stopped from doing whatever the hell they want. (It's like people in relationships who insist that they want their autonomy when they really mean they want to never have to face consequences for what they do.)
