Not great shakes on the apartment hunt

lightcastleSo the apartments I saw today weren't great. They weren't terrible, and as the wisdom goes, I may deserve better but I'm not actually entitled to better.
They are 3 1/2s and small ones at that. Still, the one here on the Plateau has decent room for a Queen-sized bed, and a long main room. The kitchen is miniscule but functional. The bathroom is tiny.
It does have everything included, is right on the park, and there is a terrase on the rooftop. One can go up and sit on the roof and have a drink, or use the stunning view of the park, the mountain, or the city as backdrops for photos.
Since I really need to get out of my parents place for the sake of my sanity, I don't really have time to shop around hoping I don't lose stuff by July 1, so unless somewhere else I've pinged gets back to me and I can check them out tomorrow, I'll probably just suck it up and live with lots of shelves up walls or something for a year.
