A Reply From ThinkGeek
May. 21st, 2010 03:42 pmSo I sent ThinkGeek a complaint about the Ada Lovelace shirt (see previous post) and said I was assuming it was an oversight and not that they assume men wouldn't want to wear a shirt honoring the first computer programmer just because she was a woman. (I didn't mention the Marie Curie shirt because I hadn't noticed it, but it seems there is a series of these "Heroine" shirts which are only available in "women's sizing".)
I got this reply.
It wasn't an oversight. We thought it'd be nice to launch something just for the females for a change. However, I keep a list of customer requests for designs on different shirts. I'll add yours to it.
I'm not sure what I think about that reply yet.
