Last week, there was Don Cherry Military Appreciation Night. Normally, this is the sort of minor-hockey league charity event that is ignored outside of the local area. However, the local team wore specially designed uniforms in Don Cherry's honor.

The Burlington Dilemma

The horns of a dilemma: Do I get the lens now for about $300 CDN after taxes or do I put an order in and bus down to Burlington in mid-Novemberish when it might have arrived for about $250 US total? (And probably turn it into a weekend Burlington visit, paying for the kindness of holding the lens with a shoot, cooking, or other service rendered?)
